Hello!

My name is Rachael Gonsiewski and I have the need to create in me. I received a bachelor of Fine Arts degree from OSU and am currently living in sunny Central Oregon. My mom is a very crafty woman and at a young age she opened my eyes to the creative world. Art does not have any boundaries or restrictions so it is constantly taking me on a new journey. While exploring my possibilities and options for creating, I recently added cards and napkins to my designs and plan to be adding different mediums soon. I have decided, with the ease of technology at my fingertips, to share my journey and findings with all of you. I hope you enjoy it as much as I will.

Mykiss is the species name of the Rainbow Trout. Oncorhynchus mykiss to be exact. I am married to a man whose whole being is about fly-fishing and we both have an enormous passion for the outdoors and especially water. Trout are one of the most beautiful creatures on earth, their natural designs and colors are stunning and inspiring. Fly-fishing for these marvelous creatures is just one of the activities that not only brings so much inspiration to my work, but also leads me to enjoy beautiful places with my wonderful man.
